Business Khata lets you delete your account and associated data from inside the Android app. You do not need to email us to start deletion, but you can contact support if you need help.

How to delete your account (in the app)

Open the Business Khata app on your Android phone.
Go to Profile (bottom menu).
Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
Read the steps shown on screen, add an optional reason, then tap Schedule deletion.
Confirm in the popup. You will be logged out right away.

What happens after you request deletion

Your deletion request starts immediately after you confirm.
You are logged out as soon as you submit.
You have 30 days to cancel by logging in again with the same account.
After 30 days, your account and synced data are permanently deleted.

What data is deleted

When deletion is completed, we permanently remove data linked to your account, including:

Your account profile (name, email, profile photo)
Your businesses, customers, suppliers, items, sales, purchases, and payments
Cloud backups and synced files stored for your account on our servers
Referral program data tied to your account (if applicable)

Some information may be kept for a limited time where the law requires it (for example billing or fraud-prevention records from Google Play).

Cancel a scheduled deletion

Changed your mind? Log in again within 30 days using the same email and password or Google account. Your deletion request will be cancelled automatically and you can keep using the app.
